ACCS gives Thanksgiving turkeys, food items to school's families, elderly community members
Last week, members of Atlantic Community Charter School (ACCS) staff teamed up with the Atlantic City Fire Department and Atlantic Community Sheriff Department to distribute Thanksgiving turkeys and packaged food items to their students. Leftover turkeys and food items were also handed out to elderly members of the community. The distribution was organized by Lonniyell Sykes, ACCS’s Parent Coordinator and Community Outreach Liaison.
Thank you to everyone who participated, especially the AC Fire Department and Sheriff Department! Thanks to your efforts, our community’s holidays can be a bit brighter.
IMPORTANT COVID-19 Update
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Today we learned of two positive COVID-19 cases in our building. In consultation with the Department of Health and our Medical Inspector, we will be switching to full time remote home instruction effective immediately. We anticipate resuming the hybrid model on November 12th (A day).
We will keep you up-to-date with any changes or schedule modifications. Students should follow the same schedule as they would on their hybrid day. Students in Cohort B will be able to pick up materials on Tuesday from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM at the school.
Thank you for your assistance.
